We learned it with "lui/lei" @nanuk Look in Erikos Veoh there's no difference..we don't use 'egli'...it's too formal.. anyhow 'egli' means 'lui' and 'ella' means 'lei'. We learned it with "lui/lei" @nanuk Look in Erikos Veoh Egli and ella can only be used as subject: just like 'he' and 'she'. Lui and lei shouldn't be used as subjects, they are the equivalent of him and her. However nowadays no one uses egli and ella, and the use of lui and lei has expanded and it is now also used as subject (even if it is a mistake, if in school you write 'lui è', that is 'he is', it is considered a mistake, it should be 'Egli è'). Yes, and I think that's why he seated like that during the song: it's a bit a childish (?) way to seat coz I think that unconsciously the song let him feel like a child again When he asked the young Marco how he felt during the song and showed Morgan that actually he was very "fragile", I almost felt to cry.
