I know both nights will be a late night. I don’t mind how late it is. If anyone is in midtown Manhattan or going to Midtown Manhattan wants to go sightseeing around Manhattan with me, please let me know. I am going to a Broadway show on Saturday evening April 2. My flight arrives from Houston into LaGuardia around 2 30pm on April 2. What time is everyone meeting at Kings Theater on April 5 for Mika’s concert? Is anyone meeting before the concert or after for dinner or a drink? Who knows what may happen re: Mika, but regardless we will have a great dinner celebrating Mika Fan Club's 15th Anniversary in Manhattan! Weather should be decent -- 55F and party sunny tomorrow, about the same for most of Tuesday... although it looks like some rain may roll in in the late afternoon so queuing may be a little soggy. We'll be trying to do a quick Instagram Live from dinner, if the internet is good -- it may be a little late for some of you, but we'll save it, so you can watch it later. MaureenG Posted April 4, 2022 Share Posted April 4, 2022 (edited) Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow in Brooklyn. So far having a great trip to New York since arriving yesterday. Went to Broadway and saw the Plaza Suite last night with Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker very cute and funny show Today I walked down to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral attended Noon Mass (I said a prayer for Mika for a quick recovery), Rockefeller Center, the New York library, I even walked to the Empire State building Took the entire tour on both observations decks. I took a cab ride down to Central Park and Trump Tower then I went to visit with my cousin. I’m supposed to see a family friend this evening. I hope Mika feels better soon!❤️ I am here until tomorrow and then I’m flying back to Houston. I have to be back at work at Spring Branch ISD on Thursday and Friday. I’m not going to be able to make Mika’s concert in Brooklyn for n April 12 it’s too short of a notice and it is too expensive to fly up from Houston to New York and a hotel. I won the Sound Check for Empathy for New York but unfortunately I’m not going be able to make it next week. I am needed at work because we have a short week next week because we are off Good Friday and the Monday after Easter.
