I mean, I'll grant you that the Golden Ticket prize is pretty amazing, but I'm sure there are a lot of people who care as much about doing some good for the charity as they do about winning. Christine Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Yes I don't think I would "buy" tickets, since I'd rather put the money towards a sure thing (i.e. gigs I plan to go to regardless), but since it's for HEMS I have opened my wallet. I've also seen some people participating who live in places that Mika is unlikely to ever get to so I hope this fulfills some dreams. Even if it doesn't go to someone we "know", everyone who participated is certainly deserving of the prize. Can't wait to see who the winner is. I'm very proud of this whole effort. Absolutely! For me, it's like an investment, as I go in and out of London a lot, and I've seen the amazing work they do on the M4. I haven't bought a ticket as I am afraid of flying and I thought it would be a waste of a prize if I won. However, I realise now there is a flaw in my logic, namely the "if I won" bit.
