I'm late, but I finally watched last week's live:

I loved Ape Escape and Michele, and also Violetta!!! I think that she made this Asaf Avidan song really good :wub2:

Roberta was good with the first song and Mika seemed very touched :wub2:

About the elimination of Roberta, even if I still don't understand why she was eliminated (I think she is better than many others), I think the judges were not so agresiv with Mika or with her, they took time to explain why they didn't choose her and to praise her for her voice.

But I do see that between Simona and Mika this is... let's say, this is not love anymore :teehee:

I love that suit. I'm not used to pay attention to his outfits, but yesterday evening as soon as he appeared on the show I was stunned. Gorgeous.

I was impressed because he was complaining about the fact that no one told him he was using an italian sentence in a wrong way. Not that wrong, actually, it was just a matter of shades. But since he's a perfectionist he wants to do everthing at his best, I guess. I was impressed because they told him not to worry 'cause when he mispeaks he's cute and people goes "aaaaaaw" and he told he doesn't want people to do like that. I didn't know that he's bothered by people thinking he's cute.

I´m also sure she doesn´t want to show that much and I´m not sure she was the one who decided to wear the costum. But it seems to become more and more normal to show the butt and more at the music scene today :teehee:

Yes, if my daughter would wear a a costume like this at school I wouldn't be amused!

Also when from spring to autumn you can see here a lot of girls on her way to school with at most 1 cm more to drape. :teehee:

But in a show like XFactor? I would be proud if my daughter could wear a costume like this. :fisch

And - who is prudish enough and is not loving, when Mika gets his shirt off at a gig from time to time? :mf_rosetinted:

Valerie is out? It was not a surprise, imo. Not sure what to think about Michele's performance this week. He was lovely as always, I loved the atmosphere, but something in his style I usually find really charming was a bit distracting this time. Probably just expected too much from the song.

 

I haven't seen Gaia's performance yet, curious to see.

Three random thoughts!

 

1- I absolutely love Mika's daily after the ep, when he analyses the girls' performance in a very critic and honest way. You can see he is very concerned about them not only to get to the next round but also to give their best onstage.

 

2- We have already said what an amazing performer Michele is, but can I just add that he is such an intelligent boy, he has linguistic skills that some adults fail to have (classic high school rules :D)...

I loved what Morgan answered to Elio, who had said that he tends to sing everything in the same way... Morgan basically answered that it was not a limit, because he is just himself, natural and spontaneous and therefore he imitates no one, he's simply himself, and his simplicity and his pureness of soul are his strength, and his personality mixed with his intelligence and vocal skills keep the audience glued to his performances. Mika was more synthetic: 'beautiful'. :)

 

3- I'd sooo love to hear Michele sing an old Italian song again, just like he did with Fossati, he's amazing in English too of course, but in Italian he is really really special imo, when he sings very meaningful lyrics, he really has that 'old Italian songwriter' sensitivity, but he does not imitate anyone, he is so fresh and deep. :) ok end of random thoughts, I still have to watch the full ep, I just watched Michele's performance XD

Michele and Violetta have a bit of the same problem, IMO, they are really good and each performance taken separately are lovely, but it's a bit of the same every time, don't you think?

 

Gaia is a much better performer and I love her performance this week. She was really into it:thumb_yello:

Well not everybody needs to have strong voice and I suppose I just don't like him :naughty: No. I like him, I'm sure he's a very nice boy. I don't like him as a singer and performer.

 

And I want to reply to Cath about Violetta. For me she's not the same on every show. Again perhaps because she's my favourite. I like her melodic voice and how she behaves on stage. She was very good this time, much better than before! More confident and relaxed.

 

I liked Gaia's second performance. But she always sounds like carrying something heavy. But she's a great performer for sure!

 

I suppose Valentina was really the weaker on the 5th show. Unfortunately because I like her very much.

 

Unexpectedly I liked Andrea's performans as well as Ape Escape :thumb_yello: Don't really understand why Aba was on the 2nd place. She's a bit screamy this time.

Oh, I love Violetta a lot, she's been my favorite since her first audition but because she is good, I guess I expect more from her.
