C'est un moment hors du temps que s'apprêtent à vivre les téléspectateurs de France 4. Ce mercredi 22 décembre 2021 sera diffusé le concert de Mika à la Philharmonie de Paris et cela vaut le détour.

 

Mika aime surprendre son public et on peut dire qu'il a réussi son pari ! Le 23 octobre dernier, le coach de The Voice s'est produit une première fois à à la Philharmonie de Paris avec l'Orchestre National d'Ile-de-France. Le public a pu l'entendre revisiter ses tubes les plus célèbres tels que Grace Kelly ou Love Today de manière symphonique. Pour ce faire, il était accompagné par une centaine de musiciens et d'un choeur d'une cinquantaine de chanteurs. Le chef d'orchestre Simon Leclerc a été choisi pour la direction et les arrangements et Olivier Bardot était le chef de choeur. Les chanteurs Ida Falk Winland et Max Taylor ont eu l'honneur d'accompagner le chanteur de 38 ans, ainsi que le guitariste Thibaut Garcia.

 

Vêtu de l'un des costumes originaux dont il a le secret, Mika a tout donné sur scène et a une fois de plus impressionné. Une expérience dont il se souviendra pendant longtemps. "Ce concert était extrêmement intense, sans aucun filtre, ce qui rendait le moment grandiose et très intimiste à la fois. Les moments de silence étaient à couper le souffle et les applaudissements s'apparentaient à des tonnerres. L'un de mes rêves à présent serait de me produire en Belgique au Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie !", a-t-il confié à la version belge de Paris Match. Il ne pouvait passer à côté de ce projet, d'autant plus que l'événement était prévu depuis longtemps. La finale de The Voice All Stars, remportée par Anne Sila, a donc été en majorité enregistrée et il était en duplex depuis sa loge pour les résultats.

 

Le lendemain, le 24 octobre donc, Mika s'est une fois de plus produit sur la scène de la Philharmonie de Paris. Et pour ce concert, l'artiste a été applaudi par le couple formé par Eric Dupond-Moretti et Isabelle Boulay. L'occasion de découvrir une rare photo des tourtereaux avec Mika, en coulisses. You can see the tension in his face and shoulders when he’s waiting to come on stage (or that is what I assume what he’s doing in the dark corridor)…and then his relieved smile with the disheveled hair afterwards! 
 

Btw I think the pictures don’t do him justice, he was absolutely radiant on stage. More so on Sunday than on Saturday. On Saturday you could feel he was tense the first half of the show, but relaxed more the second half even. The tension you can see very well in the photos.
