Whenever he would come closer to the edge of the stage, I could feel all the people behind me pushing forward like the ebb and flow of the tide. Thanks to everyone who posted video and pics overnight! MIKA! You have ME dancing around the room like a 6-year-old girl! No, there is no video of that! I absolutely love love love love love Blame It on the Girls -- love the other songs, too, I must admit, but that one jumps out at me the most. I can't get it out of my head -- which is exactly how this all started with Grace Kelly more than two years ago! This is just fantastic, and I'm happy to feel so again! maybe we need to open a 'toy boy' thread and move our discussion of the song into there. We have the "Mika's Lyrics and Art" or whatever it's called section for that -- I figure we will start a thread for each song, either now or eventually when the new album comes out (in the fall!). The fact that we all will dissect and analyze (and overanalyze) his lyrics is inevitable! Best gig of my life. I might, just, like, cease to exist. Point form. Proper review in, like, 18 hours. I have to be at the airport in 3 hours and I haven't slept. * Gig was awesome * New songs were awesome. I crave every single detail! ok, I understand that a mod had to carry the burden of arranging this meeting for you. If a mod won't do that in the future, then we should say good-bye to any kind of meet and greet? I am aware that you guys can't predict future but... I really can't speak as to what the future holds in store. A meet and greet after a gig is NEVER guaranteed -- and it's not really the moderators here who determine whether there will be one. So much depends on how Mika himself is feeling, what his schedule's like, what the crowds are like... so many variables. I would say that you should not expect to ever have a meet and greet, and just enjoy fully any concert you get to see, and all the MFC members you'll get to meet. That way, if you do get to meet him (and he does seem to like meeting his fans, so your chances are good!) then you'll be twice as excited and happy! The lyrics of Toy Boy are clever and funny and up to discussion (I believe many interpretations are possible). The last two days were really exciting and made me even more impatient to experience my first mika gig (which will hopefully be this summer). I really like good girl gone too ... makes me want to jump up and dance (though I'm certain a few people will think I'm insane if I would do such a thing right now). Thanks to everyone who posted pictures and videos! The new album will be amazing and these new songs only confirmed it! I'm so excited!!!! (and Mika looked amazing and so happy.) Blame it on the boy!
