I live next to the Indian reserve, they sell mukluks all year around, mainly for the tourists :naughty:

Yes! :teehee: Yeah I knew through a Dutch friend. You eat them at new year's, right? And they have raisins in them? Here we just eat them at fairs and they don't have anything in them.

It basically is the same thing. Smoutebollen taste a bit like donuts, only, the outside is a bit more crispy since you mostly eat it when it's hot :teehee: I remember we talked about this on MFC before somewhere, we talked about smoutebollen, oliebollen, boules de berlin, donuts.... :roftl:

Oh we have this in Northern France too! They're called 'croustillons', we eat them at fairs and with nothing in it just like Belgium (we almost are Belgians really :roftl:) Delicious..
