Après avoir présenté l’Eurovision devant près de deux cents millions de téléspectateurs, le chanteur fait son retour avec un nouvel album.
En prélude, un single, Yo Yo, aux couleurs pop et aux rythmes house des années 1990, à la fois mélancolique et euphorique : « Je réclame cette liberté folle que la pop nous a offerte quand on avait 15 ans, la possibilité de transformer la tristesse en pouvoir », explique le chanteur d’origine libanaise.

« J’ai créé les chansons de mon album dans des studios que j’ai fait construire en Italie, à Miami et à Bâle. Aujourd’hui, on ne réalise plus les albums de la même façon : la technologie permet de faire tout beaucoup plus vite.
Durant ma tournée, si j’ai une idée dans ma loge, j’enregistre la mélodie, j’appelle mon producteur à Los Angeles, et on commence à travailler sur le morceau à distance. »

Son album (qui sortira à l’automne) sera un diptyque en français et en anglais.
Homme-orchestre, Mika a également signé la réalisation d’un superbe clip, où il évolue dans une esthétique d’illusion d’optique évoquant Julio Le Parc et le mouvement op art.
 Il signe aussi la BO de Tehu, le prochain film d’Éric Barbier (février 2023), et A Roof for Silence, une installation sonore contemporaine créée avec l’architecte Hala Wardé, à l’abbaye de Jumièges, près de Rouen, en collaboration avec le Palais de Tokyo.

Ce lundi 5 septembre au soir, les téléspectateurs de TF1 vont pouvoir découvrir Kendji Girac dans son premier rôle en tant qu’acteur dans Champion, téléfilm réalisé par Mona Achache. Le chanteur se met dans la peau de Zack, un charpentier et boxeur illettré. L’occasion d’en savoir plus sur le jeune papa de 26 ans qui s’est fait connaître en remportant la saison 3 de The Voice et sur ses relations avec son ancien coach, Mika.

Lorsque l’on songe à l’émission « The Voice » (TF1), parmi les premières images qui viennent en tête, ce sont probablement les célèbres fauteuils rouges tournant qui nous viennent à l’esprit en premier ! De larges fauteuils dans lesquels tous les téléspectateurs du télécrochet ont forcément déjà rêvé de s’asseoir tant ces derniers ont l’air confortables… Pourtant, à en croire la chanteuse Zazie, l’une des anciennes jurées de l’émission, ces fauteuils n’ont pas toujours été accueillants ! Pire encore, pour elle et le chanteur Mika, ces sièges se sont même apparentés à de véritables objets de torture !

 

Mardi 27 septembre 2022, dans « Le Morning sans filtre », sur les ondes de Virgin Radio, Zazie a en effet fait savoir à Guillaume Genton et à toute son équipe que les premières versions des célèbres fauteuils rouges étaient loin d’être une réussite !

« On a eu plusieurs modèles de fauteuils qui ont été updatés. Le premier avait une espèce de barre en bois, parce qu’on avait dedans des enceintes pour pouvoir entendre ce qu’il se passait sans se retourner […]. Donc Florent passait dessous au niveau de l’assise, moi pas du tout et Mika encore moins. Donc de temps en temps, comme on était un peu hyperactifs, on faisait aïe » , a-t-elle révélé en mimant de se cogner la tête ! Comme quoi, les apparences peuvent souvent être trompeuses !
