Not if you are called Mika and you have to finetune your album to get it to the big crowd! At least, it shouldn't be in my opinion.I didn't mean it like: Your opinions aren't vaild, but I meant it like: If he wants it to be September release, it will be. I don't think Mika will suddendly gain speed if we all protest against a release later in the year, so what I intend to do is support him. And you know what? If I would be making a presentation (not comparable, I know, but still), when would I finish it earlier? When people support me, or when people start running round the class, screaming I would have to go faster. I didn't mean to get your opinions down. I just disagree. Maybe I'm pushing my opinion through a little hard, but I just... think like that. Sorry. Go for it, young Yedi! :starwars: I guess nobody here would say about themselves that they're not supporting Mika. There's just a general yearning for some new material and expectations are being built up on Mikasounds for months. Nobody will haunt or threaten Mika for taking his time with the new album. Sure he's entitled to allow himself to take however much time he needs. Of course, that goes without saying and let's face it, there's nothing anybody (of us) can do about this. Personally I think it would be easier for him too, to throw us a specific bone instead of universal phrases like 'demoing is coming along great'... ... ... But yes, he DID say it was going to be a busy year so I guess we just need to continue to live in hope and wait patiently:shocked: But you know...albums are with us forever. It's just a bit hard to swollow for me because I've been a fan longer than my MFC membership, and in this whole time period he has had only 1 CD i have to listen to, and I'm thinking, well, I don't get tired of songs too too easily, especially ones I love, but I know a looooot of people who do. I just want him to try and consider that maybe september isn't the best month for his second CD to come out in. I love the man, have faith in his ability, and want him to do well and everyone to see it. I do the same. I just want him to do his best, and make the best out of it. Guys, we don't even know if this is reliable, as Rose already said, it's the sister paper to the Sun, so.. I guess the best thing we can do is wait. I guess I can wait til september. New one finally will be out 25th January 2009..... Can I wait for a new Mika album... you bet I can.... I'm a bloody pro by now..... I'd like one earlier of course... but I'm not gonna jump ship or kill myself cos' it's not released when I think it should be released..... and yes Franz did play gigs last year and previewed new songs from upcoming new album.... it's just been a bloody long time coming....
