oh noooooooooooo I didn't know this was going on    too bad, as I'll be on my own that weekend.. Someone please let me know if a seat becomes available due to someone not being able to make it or something (I wouldn't hope for them, but I'd love to be a backup).

The trip should end where it begins, at the quay located near the foot of the Eiffel Tower. I'm sorry we won't see you on the boat!

BUT...

 

This brings me to a situation that is a bit awkward.

 

Several fans who said they were interested in the boat ride, but did not get their payments in before we reached capacity for various reasons, are now unfortunately unable to join us due to the limit on the number of passengers. I really thought we would have plenty of spaces for everyone who was interested, but your interest far exceeded expectations!

 

So... knowing that plans often change, I'm going to start a "wait list." This way, if anyone discovers they can't make the boat, they can let me know and I can refund their money, then substitute in the person at the top of the wait list.

 

I'm really sorry that we cannot accommodate everyone who wants to go, but it's a safety issue, and a legal one.

Also, one more thing. Plans are under way for a get-together on Saturday night before the concert. We'll be posting details about that here on the forum in the next day or two, so keep your eyes open for that!

Deb, will you post a list of fans who paid? I know that some of them sent money but as you don't confirm it they are afraid that you didn't get it (of course I am pretty sure that you got it).

But to avoid a bad surprise at the quey - will you post the list?

Chrissie, das Boot ist voll belegt, es gibt nur noch Wartelistenplätze, falls jemand nicht kommt. Du kannst aber Samstag im Restaurant noch dabei sein, dort gibt es noch ein paar Plätze:

Yes, Julien, we're departing at 3 p.m., so we're asking everyone to be at the quay about 20-30 minutes beforehand so we can start boarding.

 

The meeting point is at the quay at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

 

Also, I'll be publishing a timetable in the next day or two.

 

And also also, we'll be having a ZOOM meeting to discuss final plans TODAY at 3 p.m. Eastern US time, 9 p.m. Central Europe.
