mellody Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 I'm not there yet I liked when he tried to speak German but the crowd didn't cheer or anything so he's just like "whatever." if you mean before SITM, when he was talking about the house party, i didn't really understand what he said there during the gig - i just was like ":blink: what was that he just said, was it supposed to be german? :blink:" watching again now i think he meant "heut nacht", for "tonight", but no wonder no one got this, just this single word pronounced in a way that we wouldn't understand it, lol! maybe he wanted to build a sentence but then decided that it wasn't worth the effort trying to find the right words - well, whatever. just downloading the videos, thanx for posting them! wrote some reports in the gig thread. will start uploading my pix+vids now. mellody Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Mellody he said " hautnah ", it was the name of the radioshow for the livestream. ah! well i didn't get it, it's not a word you use much, just what swr3 call their exclusive gigs. ok i should've heard it often enough that evening to understand it but anyway, at least swr3 surely were happy about him saying it. excerpts of the gig are live on radio swr3 now, for the next hour: http://bit.ly/11bYQa the presenter just said that mika's fave song on stage is big girl. and they're playing that now. and i just heard my voice, at the point when mika stuck the microphone directly in my face. edit: now the presenter just translated mika's painkiller jokes. and they played the audience's laughs louder than in the video that is on swr3.de, so it doesn't seem that quiet.
