tiibet Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 Mika was replacing AW at Paleo, so it seemed an appropriate gesture to dedicate the gig to her. And he must have been at least a bit upset about it. She was a young and talented artist and this is a tragedy. It's possible he didn't even see his fans waiting because road security asked us to move. Or, maybe he wasn't in a mood to meet people. It was a very good gig, he had a lot of energy and the festival audience was huge and responsive. I took quite a few pics and a couple of vids. Two huge tragedies have happened the last couple of days... it's hard for everyone with heart. I think the fans were in a bad position because they were looking forward to see Mika but when he talked about that tragedy (I only heard about Norway from that Happy Ending video) they could just shut up - it was kinda rude. ps: Excuse my English please O.)
