Renate Posted February 19, 2021 Share Posted February 19, 2021 hi everyone, For those of you who have been around here for a while: I've been here before but with another name (Pascale) For the more recent fans: I'm Dutch (living in Amsterdam) and I've been a fan of Mika since 2017 (maybe 2016, i'm not very good in timekeeping) His music and this fanclub helped me through a difficult time in which I was very exhausted and depressed. I've been to a few concerts in Belgium, France, Italy and Holland (last one Tivoli, Vredenburg) and I had a wonderful time attending all of them. The last two years have been very happy and busy for me, so I wasn't around here anymore. I even forgot my old emailadress and password, so that's why I started fresh again here (with my own name this time) But today I was curious to find out what was going on here and I needed the adress of Mika's management. (still haven't found it yet, can anyone help me'?) I've just asked the Concertgebouw to think about inviting Mika for a Symphonic concert in their big hall. It is a very big wish of mine to enjoy such a concert in Amsterdam, so i very much hope, they and Mika wil consider it and will come to an agreement. If not, we also have Carré, so that's next on my list. (If not anyone else tried that recently?). I hope to be around more often again and to get the chance to get in touch with some old friends/fellowfans and to make some new ones. As for contacting Mika's management, I'm really not sure what good that will do especially in these pandemic times. But I suppose they'll start to make plans again sometime... He is represented by these two agencies (from the Mika FAQ):Who represents Mika? In UK and Europe, Mika is represented by YMU Group. In the US, Mika is represented by William Morris Endeavor. I’m not sure yet how to answer to separate posts, so here to all of you: @Mikasister: good to see you around again yes, seeing and hearing Mika in a symphonic concert is a bit magical. And to see him perform in ‘my own’ Concertgebouw would be extra wonderful. @Krysady: very nice to talk to you again. I think I always will be into Mika and his fans. But sometimes I’m busy doing other things and then that’s not so clear I guess. @dcdeb: still your kind and helpful self I see. Thanks very much for the offer of access to my old account. At the moment I don’t need it but I might change my mind and it’s good to know that it’s possible. And thanks also for the adresses. I sincerely doubt if Mika and his management will pay any attention to my message. But it seems polite to inform them that I wrote an e-mail to the Concertgebouw about Mika. @holdingyourdrink: good to meet you here. Yes, Amsterdam is a wonderful city. And no, I don’t have any contacts at the Concertgebouw or at Carré. But I believe in giving destiny a helping hand.
