Freddie has been speaking to John for a couple of weeks so he was able to get John a list of names of everyone who's been on the RSVP list in the gig thread. Initially John only offered a limited number of passes but in the end Freddie was able to get everyone in. Thanks for that Christine. You answered the other question that I forgot to ask... The heat through all night unbelievable! The most wonderful thing having our girls:wub2: on stage, can you imagine the excitement? My bloody Valentine pure horror! Thanks to all the MFCers who made this days in Madrid an unforgettable experience! And a special thanks to the two Spanish queens who took us out in the night for drinks and tapas(? )and showed us the city! RL is calling but I will try to do a more detailed report later! We went through a thunderstorm north of Madrid and there was some quite bad turbulence. I’m not the best flier and this was the first time I had flown on my own all I can say is that the lady next to me was very understanding and calmed me down The weekend was fab, even though I had the grand total of 10 hours sleep in 3 days!! I don’t think there’s much more I can add that hasn’t already been said – MBV were shockingly bad – they even made Hercules and the Love Affair from Amsterdam look good!! I wasn’t really impressed with the other bands either, TBH. It was worth suffering the pain at 3.15 when Mika bounded on stage looking mighty gorgeous in his red t-shirt Big thanks to FD for arranging the M&G and ensuring that everyone got in. There were one or two hiccups, but I’m sure Jems’ ribs will soon recover It was great to see some old friends – Jems, Babs, Sariflor you were great company as usual and to meet some other MFCers that I hadn’t met before – you are all lovely!! Mirti and Ana as BGs on stage was a joy to watch. They looked thrilled to bits to be up there and appeared to be loving every minute of it. I was chuffed to bits for them…. Ok so heres my report ! x so ... set off for Madrid at 4.30am with fred, absolutely shattered , but me and fred woke ourselves up on the flight by entertaining ourselves , with pringles and making duck lips on the flight ... LOL Got to Madrid , (i was in absolute awe looking at spain from the flight , such a beautiful country ) ... couldnt believe the heat , it was lovely , and met the beautiful Black queen and Queenie , who were absolutely amazing hosts , and i want to thank them for showing me thier beautiful city and having me (i love spanish food btw !!! YUM !! ) next day met other Mfc'ers .... Robi , babs , jems , sarah , sariflor , allegra , mirtilla , isa , carina , sienna and all the other mfc'ers who i have missed - it was lovely to see you again and have drinkies and rock , i hope again VERY VERY soon - Babs i want my fan back , hehe LOL x The festival was awesome , it was great to hang with you all , loved mika's show , he seemed really happy and on top form !!! ... Fred and me got loads of eye contact and smiles from him , Love today had to be the highlight , i said to fred if he sings to me girl with the big bust on again im gonna get a complex ... and he did ! AGAIN !!! trotted right across the stage to me and pointed LOL .... me and fred was in hysterics , i of course laughed and went red haha .... Meet and greet was fab , everyone behaved .. and mika seemed so happy but tired ... he grinned at me sheepishly when he walked upto me and fred , i think from what he did in love today again LOL! ... and i shook his hand and said thankyou for everything , and that i havent really had much chance to speak to him before as ive been worried to approach and been too star struck LOL He just laughed , shook my hand and spoke to me and fred quickly .... The night was almost over , and i wanna just say congrats to queenie and mirtilla , they were absolutely fantastic on stage !!!! you girls rocked !!!! im so pleased for you ... next day we went out for drinkies , before we flew and it was lovely laughing with sienna and sariflor that night also !!! .... sorry for the people i didnt get to say bye too , jems , babs, sarahlou ... but i miss you all and loved seeing you It was fantastic , i have my mika spark back again and cant wait till the next time !!! Thanks to everyone who was there, who I had met before and who I met just then, for making it yet another special time. The gig was incredible,one of his best (despite his voice), he had so much fun and kept doing al these silly little things...It was amazing. And meeting him afterwards was also lovely yet quite surreal at that time of the morning,hehe... I filmed everything and the vids turned out great, from the front row center on that small stage, but I will have to wait another week and a bit to post them unfortunately. Ah, Esteban, don´t worry, I will send you the video, just be patient . Ok, I will have to go now but see you all soon!!
