So this "fan theories" thread is the right place for it, not the french press thread. So, which studio did he go to yesterday? Paris? Rome? His home studio in Florence? That's good to know that he's (probably) at home. I hope he also does have a few days off and it's not JUST studio - maybe he just wrote that because everyone wants new music from him, so he wanted to let us know that he's working on it. Well, I guess he's happy with his countless projects at the same time, otherwise he wouldn't do it? It makes such a difference to the feeling that he's in contact with his fans, imo. And also, as I said, nice to know that he's at home, even if he's working. I don't know how he can write good music when he's so tired, but well... we might want his album asap but we didn't make his schedule. I hope he has a few days now to write and relax and sleep, until that next festival in France. When we were waiting for Mika after Cap Roig, for 2 hours, at some point my son asked me, "but if you're tired too, why do we keep waiting instead of going to bed?". Children can be a lot smarter than us, I guess we should listen to them more often. (btw I was glad to have the excuse that we were sharing a car with someone, so we couldn't leave sooner and I did offer to my son to bring him to the car so he could sleep there while we were waiting - he didn't want to... so while he might have realized that sleeping would have been the more sensible option, he also chose to stay there and wait ) 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He loves to be in a full (Lebanese) house. And I don't know what is happening with Amy - I have seen her post on the Instagram that she will be absent in the SM for a while to focus on herself. It doesn't sound good... Hard to say if it will impact her cooperation with Mika. Anyway our boy keeps himself busy. I know what you mean, Michelle. I can be dead tired but when I have an idea I need to make something with it. At once! And I forget about being tired. Creativity gives you superpower. And I love this feeling And Mika mentioned several times the moments when he wrote a song in 15-20 minutes. It was a sort of a flow in your head. Just like a door opens and you just grab something and you have it. I call it "connection with God" or "higher state of consciousness". He got so much input and energy (which he gave back to us tremendously, I’m still reeling from all the shows I have attended!) and it gets all the wheels rolling even more, “we’re gonna stay high” as a wise poet once said As exciting and energizing as it is, I do hope he has his little power breaks (two hours at the beach, for example ) to refuel and balance out. As much as I love to see his work, I also love to see him as a normal human being in need of sleep and rest. Yeah, the room looks more modern than the ones he's usually staying at in Paris or Rome - they have this beautiful design that almost looks royal, with chandeliers and stuff, and this one looks more like any other hotel room. The woman in the background is probably someone who's responsible for his wardrobe, but doesn't look like Paloma to me. The different suits might mean it's for a photoshoot. So maybe it IS promo for the Magic Piano tour? However, there was no Eurovision that year due to Covid. James Newman was reselected in 2021 but ended up last so then Tap management (the team Dua Lipa worked with) got involved in the search for a suitable contestant.
