holdingyourdrink Posted May 10, 2022 Share Posted May 10, 2022 I am so proud of him!!! He did sooo well!! Even messed up a tiny bit of his lines but it wouldn’t be Mika if he wouldn’t do that at all. He was as charming and goofy and amazing as I thought he would be, and more!! Can’t wait for the second semi final and of course the grand final! I think it's already a big challenge for Mika to stick to the prepared script. He's a master of improvisation While watching I recalled Stasera Casa Mika where most of speeches has been prepared in advance. But there at least he was alone. On Eurovision he has to be in constant control with Ale and Laura. It's a huge pressure and I think the show was really well prepared and all thee of them were great. For sure the second semi-finals will be easier to do because the "first time' is always the most difficult. And I have to say I loved a lot of songs and I don't dare to choose one or two the best. And I think Mika was more relaxed and all three of them were really funny. Of course it can change tonight during the live broadcast. But anyway they do a great job And I loved at the end when they were singing happy birthday to Alle and then talking to the public in Italian asking to make the noise if they speak English, Italian and Piemontese . It will not be included in the evening for sure as it was a part off camera when they were waiting for the vote result.
