It was a lovely performance on his piano of "Stardust" and a medley of "Rain/GraceKelly/Lollipop" and an interview which I only understood some words from like "monkey" It would be great if you could upload it. Lucrezia Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Thank you for the link about the interview and performace I must say that I did not hear Mika sing for a long time and tonight, listening his performance, all my questions have been answered: he was born to sing and I do not think it will be nothing in life more suited to his person. His voice was pure and crystalline and the version of Lollipop was really a nice surprise! I hope that he'll come back to make gigs (maybe just him and his piano) very very very very soon. The interview was very funny because they played a bit on his way to speak and he enjoyed it! and then I'm very honored that he likes the South, (especially southern food) since I am sicilian like his teacher Unfortunately I am not able to say goodbye because even I was able to going out the studio I have not been able to get close to him.... too much people and i don't push or scream to get his attention. mellody Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 i still think it should be illegal for men to have such eyelashes true words. just finished watching it, and it really made me wish for an acoustic tour. i also understood bits&pieces of the interview, but hope we'll get a translation/summary at some point. especially of the jokes, which of course i didn't understand. did he say in the end that he wants to write music for theatre/opera? i still hope that even if he gets to do that at some point, he won't stop performing his own music. he just belongs on a stage. I had tears in my eyes during the whole performance, it was really pretty and was having my annual "end of the year happiness/sadness".
