It looks like a kids activity page I was reading a review about it earlier, and it wasn't great. It said it was a basic copy of a similar chat site. He's not a technophobe, like me, so he might as well take full advantage of it. And yes, he does need to release a single in English. He also needs to announce some promotional events of some kind, in the UK. I know I bang on about it, but the UK is really important. Other countries are used to English language singles, so they will happily buy the single, but UK people aren't likely to buy singles in French, so we need an English single for all of the English speaking nations.
