Anyway Mika helped a lil only in the piano arrangment and the chorus for what I understood

sally? i wasn't too keen on it at first, but i think it's cos the vocals are kinda drowned out and, after all, it's only a demo. I can imagine it being a fantastic song when it's all done up, like I can imagine with Loverboy. Once I properly listened to the lyrics of Sally I really liked it, cos it's really different...not mention that it's actually quite catchy!

I'm not surprised to see that the new album won't be released this year. I expected it but yet I'm kind of sad now when we know it for ''sure''...but at least I know it's gonna be worth waiting.

Oh yes, please! I won't be able to see him this summer but maybe, just maybe, things will be different by autumn/winter, and I'll be able to 'catch' some gigs.

i think its only normal that he releases his new album only next year, because LICM is only about a year and a half "old" and there are some artists that are making albums for 5- 6 years , and i still love LICM so lets be PATIENT

Well,I think that's okay. I'm sure Mika wants every record and song of his to be perfect,to have the same amazing success like LICM had.

And,if we want Mika to do his album magnificent,we shouldn't get so nervous at the thought that we need to wait till next year.Mika said that he's writing his 2nd album,he's demoing and that he has three tracks in his pocket...that should satisfy all of us,shouldn't it?

Anyway,when Mika is ready to release his second album he WILL do that

Disappointed in one way - but just reading that they are fun songs,

and the same type of feeling as LICM gives me great hope that they

will not be similar to some of the folks he has been bigging up lately!!

OK, let's just think about this for a moment.

 

His first album was officially released in Jan 2007 in the UK, then was it Feb(?) in the US and even later (June 2007) in Japan.

 

Yet pre-release, we had several songs already on his myspace available for download, and getting radio play and so on. You could buy some of the special pre-releases like the Relax 7", and the Dodgy Holiday EP. So it is pretty likely that some of these sorts of goodies will be available pre-release again.

 

He also did performances like Jules Holland, Ronnie Scott, weren't they all pre-release??

 

I guess it doesn't help that much though, there are 12 months in 2009, it could be anything up to 19 months before we see the new album, it's just that we might see some nice snippets of it prior to that!

 

We have no choice but to be patient, and know he will make the album he really wants.
