dcdeb
well, maybe we could send a card on behalf of MFC, but i don't think a gift/project/hoopla is needed, though don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful news & i'm really happy for them all. I think a card is a great idea! We can do a cyber card, or even a real one if you'd like and I can pass it on to Mika's management, who I'm sure will get it to Paloma. ceebs
I think a card is a very sweet idea. I wasn't part of the MFC when her accident happened, but I, and I think all of us have a soft spot for Paloma after all she's been through, and now so much happiness. That kid will be showered in love. I think it should be a real card. It's more personal.

~LollipopGirl
I don't think it's necessary.Mika is the pop star, not Paloma... she's a private person and seems to like it that way. that being said, a baby boy I hope... no, I KNOW he looks like his uncle Edited May 7, 2014 by ~LollipopGirl

Alireine
And, sorry for double post, I want to ask: Am I the only one who feel that so much is always happening in Mika world? I always have the feeling that, as soon as something new happens (information about the album, new place where he is, new suit, new song (ok, not so much lately ), new project, new baby!), we don't even have enough time to understand or analyze the news, that another one is coming. I was still in the piano gift feeling (), then he said he was in Marouatte and I got so excited for new songs , then suddenly the baby is here, and I'm: That's too much for the old lady I am

There's always something going on in MIKAs world Because the man himself is clever with updating what he's doing, and where he is, and because MFC is very quick to share everything, also from FB and Twitter. That's why we need to visit MFC, both days and nights - if we have the possibility, hehe Otherwise important news might pass by... I think it's so great that MIKA is constantly writing songs, and working with his new alb. stuff, in between all the other projects. And I still trust that we'll have a new masterpiece of music, within this year, like he said in the first place - at least that's what I hope for. And while waiting for this, the most important thing he can give us, I amuse myself with being quite well updated here ... Love, love me

Certainly what is happening in his life is 50000 times more exciting/fun/interesting then in my life, but is it more? i'm not sure. example: MY LIFE: i'll tweet "i'm peeling a potato" i'll get one response that will say "cool" end of potato conversation MIKA'S LIFE: he'll tweet "i'm peeling a potato" and this is what he'll get: 200 retweets 600 answers like these: - i bet you are an amazing potato peeler - i wish i could eat the potato you peeled - why can't you be peeling that potato in my country? - i wish my husband would peel a potato - why are you peeling a potato when you should be writing new songs - can we get a picture of you peeling a potato? and it goes on and on and on .... here on MFC, someone will post about the potato peeling tweet and we'll discuss it again: - i wonder if this was his first potato peeling experience - if it is, isn't he too old to start peeling potatoes? - oohhh i hope he was careful when he peeled that potato and he didn't get hurt - so what.... it's just a potato - oh... what a brave man... he found the peeler and peeled that potato. - i admire a man who peels potatoes - i wonder who usually peels potatoes for him - Melachi must be so proud of him now, i'm pretty sure we all recognize ourselves Edited May 7, 2014 by guylainem123

guylainem123
[/u] This is so much what we do I can't stop laughing now , thanks for that wonderful example Guy But it is what we do... but if we bring it back down to the "potato peeling", it puts things a little more in perspective. I think such example helps ME keep my feet to the ground when it comes to Mika. and P.S. ... before we go any further, just so nobody starts discussing the size of his potato versus mine and hint that it's the reason why he got more attention, let it be known, our potatoes were the same size!!!! smokesignal
Guy, you made me smile, thank you. I think a real card would be a very nice gesture. At the same time, I must admit I still have to send a 'congratulations with your baby boy' card to a niece that conceived about 4 months ago so don't pay attention to me if it's a hassle to arrange. It's my boyfriend's niece, so technically he should send the card, but still, I'm terrible
