Greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! Woah I had just discovered this fan club and I have to say that it's awesome!! Great job guys! Ok, I guess I should say a little something about myself, no? So, hey, it's me! Hahha. I actually haven't heard about Mika for quite a long time. Last time I heard about him, I was 11 or 12, I don't remember much -I'm 20 now, by the way- but I absolutely remember his music hits that made my childhood memorable. Because let's face it, who doesn't love his kind of music and have a life in full of colours?!! Anyway, I've been learning french since I was 17 and been listening to french songs a lot. And this i…

And when I say "new fan" I mean I literally discovered Mika and his music for the first time over this past weekend. It was purely accidental, but sometimes hours wasted on Youtube will bring you to find amazing things. Now I cannot stop his songs from playing through my head even when I'm trying to sleep! I also discovered this site by chance, I was looking for English subtitles to the "Les Mondes de Mika" documentary special. The translating team is incredibly brilliant and a huge blessing, thank you guys so much! I live in Shanghai, China, and one of my biggest regrets is that I wasn't a fan last year when he had his concert here!!! Oh well, fingers crossed f…

Hello, I am Alex, I am new here, and I was introduced to MIKA by my French teacher with Elle Me Dit, I then found his other songs. My favorites right now are: L'amour fait ce qu'il veut, je chante, happy ending and les baisers perdus. I must admit though, that my French is not that great and I like to read the english translations with the french lyrics.

Witajcie, buongiorno, bonjour Hi, I'm Ewa from Poland. My adventure with MIKA started with the Voice. I had a lot of study at the university so I decided to watch something in french for practice. I study french since 2 years and also italian. I'm in love with this show even if I don't understand everything. And MIKA, he's the best coach. So funny, honest and nice. I really like how he talks with people. I had a little rough time in my life and once I was listening Relax, Takie It Easy all night. I don't know how but this song helped me a lot. Just relax. Now this song is special for me. After that night I started listening other of his songs, watching interviews (…

I am writing on a very old computer, so forgive the odd format if that's what I have done. I am a dog trainer, writer, artist and a singer and songwriter from L.A. My life has been somewhat odd (but isn't everyone's?} and due to a sleep problem I lost easily ten years of my life, so I am somewhat immature. I belong to a few fan clubs, mainly to get early notice of shows and whatnot. I have spent a few weeks wandering around here, and this one is different. There are a lot of things I don't get, maybe because I am older. Maybe because it makes me uncomfortable to publicly objectify a person whose talent I admire. I see a beautiful man, but I am more interested in h…

im dahv and my four favourite things, in order, are playing brass-heavy classical music, trombone maintenance, mika, and caring for leather shoes. my older sibling introduced me to mika in about 2015 with ring ring and i hated it, then started listening to his other songs and changed my mind. im mostly on here to find old pictures of mika in neon pants and see if i can find any other developmentally disabled mika fans (specifically autistic or adhd) or ones with ocd

Heyy everyone I'm very happy to introduce myself here! (finally) My name is Ryan and I'm a 14-years-old boy from Volgograd! To be honest, I'm a little bit shy so I have problems with introducing myself I don't really know what to write! So I really LOVE music, it's literally my everything, I'm listening to it as long as I remember myself, I like very different types of music. Also I'm excited to say that I bought my first musical instrument not so long ago, it is an ukulele! Can't wait to learn more and more about it! In fact, I've already learned some chords and songs, but still can't strum but I hope i'll hook up with it later. And my dream is to make some covers f…

Hey guys I've been listening to MIKA for about half a year now. I just made this painting today and thought it would be a good icebreaker to start talking in the forums. Tell me what you think, it's one of my first paintings in acrylic and one of my largest paintings to date. Sorry if the quality is bad, I had to take the pic with my phone. Its based off of the Good Guys music video (obviously)

Hello everyone! My name is Loo, I live in France. I like mika, but especially for he's a cultured man and some of its human qualities. My favorite song is over my shoulders. I love his symphonic concerts as well as CasaMika. I like the humor that I found on this forum as well as the investment of many of its members.

If the date will be confirmed I'd like to celebrate with you in Milan on September the MFC's 10th anniversary! And MIKA in my life ??? Well, I always liked his work but only this year I could have time to invest me like a "real fan", and these 6 last months I listen him every single day I'm really in love with his work, and everything he does (The Voice France, Casa Mika, interviews on YouTube and on and on ...), and of co…

Hello everybody! I have been following Mika for 3 years. I really discovered him in his first year on The Voice. Of course I knew Elle me dit, Love Today and Relax, take it easy. Actually not really... When I looked for him on YouTube and I listened to Relax and Love Today I recognized this songs a very very very little bit. I knew I heard this songs when I was a child but I don't know them... It was a very strange feeling. And about Elle me Dit I thought it was older than it is. Or maybe I confounded with another one... I don't really know... My name is Lucie, I'm 15. ? I'm French. I was born in October so maybe I have a year in more than you th…

Hi, I'm Laurence. I'm living in Switzerland near Montreux. Mika's first song which I heard was one of the album Sinfonia Pop. It made me want to know better this extraordinary personality. Since I do not spend one day without listening to Mika. Furthermore, I started again studying English and Italian to understand him better during his interviews.

Hello !! My name's Julie. I'm a seventeen year-old girl from Switzerland. I'm not used to introduce myself but I'll try. So I love music, in fact I think that I couldn't live without. I play tenor horn. ( it's a bit like the trumpet) And I try to learn to play piano in self-taught. I knew the songs Grace Kelly and Relax many years ago but I didn't search to know who Mika really was. Last year, I was watching TV on rai 2 because I had Italian lessons 2 years ago and I'm trying to not forget what I learnt, and I saw the first episode of Stasera Casa Mika. I discovered the energy Mika has. That's how I began to listen to his songs and to watch videos…

Hi everyone! I'm Molly, I'm 17 years old, and I live in Florida. I love to sing and I play a bunch of instruments, and I plan on studying music in college. Mika is so inspiring to me as a musician, and the first song I ever wrote was actually inspired by him. I honestly don't really know how I discovered Mika, I just knew the song Lollipop many years ago but never really knew who Mika was. A few years ago I listened to some other songs by him and thought they were pretty good and that he was pretty cool, but I still wasn't super into him. About 2 months ago though, I don't even know exactly how this happened, but I just started listening to Life in Cartoon Mot…

Hello! My name is Lilla, I'm 13 years old (gonna be 14 in August) and I'm from Hungary. I'm a fan of Meeks for 4 years. So how I discoverd MIKA : One day I wached the tv with my grandma. We listened to music in a random music channel. And the song what came on was "boum boum boum". I fell in love with the song! But after a heard other songs, I had new favourites... But sometime I listed to bbb again and I showed this song to my mom. She told me MIKA is a super singer (I said I know :'D) and she asked me where is MIKA from. I didn't know so I looked for him in the wikipedia and I find out a lot of interesting thing about Meeks! Than I listen to he's other songs more and mo…

So, I figured I ought to say a little "Hi" here before I - maybe - post anywhere else (not sure about that, but I'm already reading you all ). Hi everyone, I'm Nat', I'm from France and currently leaving in Paris (I'm from south of France though). I'm here today cause I have to admit it to myself, this little Mika-obsession isn't going to pass anytime soon apparently... I knew his music a little, I even listened to his first album with joy back in the day but I was a casual fan (something I rarely am to be honest!), I listened to second one a little too. I didn't know a lot about him as a person back then. After that, life happened, I was working…

Hello there ~ My name's Roselyne, I'm a 17 years old girl from Belgium and, well, I love Mika x) (Surprising, uh?) But how did I discover this amazing person and artist? Well, the first time I really got into one of his songs was back when I was like 11 or 12. The "tradition" at my little village school was to prepare a big show for the end of every year, anyone could participate. On that year, I decided I'd dance with the other girls. To my pleasure, we were going to do it on Mika's song, "Elle me dit". (By the way I'm from the French-speaking part of Belgium so this explains that~) God knows I loved it. I remember jumping like a mad cuckoo clock on a tr…

Hi everyone, my name's Rachel and I'm from the UK. ? I actually listened to Mika a lot when I was younger- my Mum bought Life in Cartoon Motion when I was seven and I have such great memories of singing along to all the songs in the car with my family. Well, time went by, and I kind of forgot about him. But recently I have rediscovered him and his music and it's the greatest decision I ever made. ? (Have I been obsessively listening to all his music, watching all the videos I can find of him online, and watching The Voice France despite not speaking French? Pfft. No... Maybe... Ok, yes.) Anyway I'm really looking forward to talking…

Hello! It's never too late to introduce yourself. He had not done it before because he did not know how to do it. So, I introduce myself, my name is Veronica, I am from Buenos Aires and fan of Mika for almost ten years. I first heard it with GK on a TV channel, I started to follow it, although very sporadically. After that, I knew little and nothing of it, except for some time that I looked at youtube. I used to listen to him in the house of a family with whom he works caring for the children, one of them is autistic and he loved to dance with the music of Mika. After that, with the passage of time and life, I did not know more about him. Last year, my mother became serio…

For those of you who may have read my hubby's long intro, I'm "Panduck's" American expat wife, and I just wanted to chime in to say hello to everyone as well, and state that I've very rarely had any new musician affect me as deeply and instantly as MIKA has, after hearing the rest of his music. Previously, I had only heard "Lollipop", years back, and thought it (and the vid of course) was awesome, but I never knew there was really anything more. I hadn't even heard "Grace Kelley", so I was pretty much totally in the dark (which is partly my fault; I'll explain below), until my hubby pointed me to more of MIKA's music that he had found last week (we have basically the same…

Many years ago, a rather odd animation with a silly song "Lollipop" was shared around by my furry friends. It was quite a hit in the community, but it seems most thought it was just an animation project that someone had managed to make a catchy song to. Including me and my wife. At one point around a year ago, we even added it to one of our Spotify playlists. We somewhat managed to still thing this was a silly "made for a fun animation". But fun songs are important, and a couple of weeks ago, I decided to see if the creator of this melody had made other fun things that we could possibly enjoy. Two weeks ago, I clicked on the "MIKA" word next to Lollipop, to se…
